Abstract
One hundred and ninety three species of Foraminifera from the northwest Gulf of Mexico are discussed, with notes on their distribution in the Atlantic. One hundred and seventy five of these species are benthonic, and 18 are planktonic. Thirty six new species and 1 new subspecies are described.
