Abstract
Extensive study of the performance of cats on the oddity problem showed three out of five to be able to learn four- and six-configuration problems. Two animals failed to learn in 3600 trials. Generalization showed successful transfer when test objects were similar to training objects in thickness and surface area. Keywords
