Abstract
Suggests that Ss who agreed to participate in a "burglary" in the study by S. G. West et al (see PA, Vol 54:Issue 4) might suffer aftereffects such as guilt or reduced self-esteem. Ethical issues surrounding the methodological requirements of the study are discussed, using excerpts from the American Psychological Assocation's Ethical Principles.
