Abstract

Infrared spectra of a series of compounds containing the CH₃OCH₂O- (MOM-O-) group have been studied. All the spectra exhibit three characteristic strong absorption bands due to coupled stretching vibrations of C-O-C-O-C grouping in the region 1 200 - 1 000 cm^-1.
