Études chromosomiques dans quelques anémies hémolytiques

Abstract
Chromosome analysis were carried out on bone marrow cells from 7 patients with hemolytic anemias one with sickle cell anemia, 2 with thalassemia major, 3 with hereditary spherocytosis and one with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, No chromosomal abnormalities, both numerical and structural, were detected. Cytological observations on the same material do not support the suggestion that the decrease in nuclear size of the erythroblasts at different stages of maturation is associated with a variation in chromsome number.
