Abstract
Collection of scats from a coyote fed previously on table scraps, then fed 48 field mice, showed that by the usual method of evaluation, only 25 mice were accounted for. In field collection, there may be duplication in counting animals large enough to be represented in several scats, but because of digestion of small bones, the number of mice counted is probably under the actual figure. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
