Abstract
Growth data have been used as a measure of nutritional status and disease activity in children. This review discusses common anthropometric techniques and emphasizes the inference of nutritional status from these measurements. As multiple factors influence growth, it is often difficult to isolate the effects of nutrition alone. Keywords
