Abstract
At a high pressure of 6 GPa, La1.7Ca1.3Cu2O y and La1.7Sr1.3Cu2O y of the Sr3Ti2O7 structure were synthesized. A supply of oxygen was necessary for the synthesis of La1.7Ca1.3Cu2O y , while La1.7Sr1.3Cu2O y became multiphased under high oxygen pressure. The compound La1.7Ca1.3Cu2O y was a superconductor with the onset temperature of 70 K. With further increase of oxygen for synthesis, La1.7Ca1.3Cu2O y changed structure, and the onset temperature became 75 K.Keywords
