Abstract
The characteristics of F‐region irregularities at low latitudes have been studied from scintillations of signals from beacon satellites having different orbital inclinations. It has been found that the irregularities are embedded in distinct N‐S‐oriented clouds. A comparison of the experimental and theoretical results of scintillation has been made to determine the parameters of the irregularities. Keywords
