Abstract
The determination of the threshold for photo‐ionization of solids and liquids by the Millikan condenser technique can be made more accurate by using two different wavelengths of light, both shorter than the threshold wavelength. Measurements made on graphite and magnesium phthalocyanine are in agreement with values obtained by more usual techniques. Keywords
