Abstract
This paper describes a fast and robust image registrationmethod that can be used to create a panoramicimage/video from video sequences. To estimate alignmentparameters for image registration, the methodcomputes pseudo motion vectors that are rough estimatesof optical flows at each selected pixels. Usingthe proposed method, we implemented a software systemthat can, with a low-cost PC, create and displaypanoramic images/videos in real-time.1.
