Abstract
Absolute elastic differential cross sections for electrons scattered from cadmium vapour at incident electron energies of 60, 75, 85, 100 and 150 eV and scattering angles of 10-70' have been measured. The generalised oscillator strength of the transition 51P to 51S was used to place the elastic cross sections on an absolute scale. No calculations of elastic differential cross sections are available for cadmium. Keywords
