Abstract
The Raman spectra of 80 ethers have been recorded and the characteristic frequencies are reported. Correlations between frequencies and structure have been investigated. The collected data have been incorporated into the interpretation system for carbonhydorgen and hydroxy compounds; the different ways of handling are discussed. Keywords
