Alpha and Spontaneous Fission Half-Lives of Plutonium-242

Measurements on ${\mathrm{Pu}}^{242}$ samples, highly enriched by neutron irradiation, resulted in the alpha half-life value of (3.88±0.10)×${10}^5$ years and in the spontaneous fission half-life value of (7.06±0.19)×${10}^{10}$ years.
