Abstract
R. indentata, a small terrestrial snail, has been found to serve as an exptl. 1st intermediate host of E. thompsoni, a brachylaemid of the short-tailed shrew, Blarina brevicauda. Cercariae were shed 60-70 days after infection of the snail with eggs. Metacercariae developed in 4 land snails not previously recorded as 2d intermediate hosts of this brachylaemid.
