Abstract
Starting from the Hamiltonian for a (metallic) spin glass with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya anisotropy the authors derive expressions for the static susceptibility and the electron spin resonance (ESR) frequencies. The results agree both with experiment and the results predicted by the 'triad' model, for which a microscopic explanation is suggested. The damping of the ESR frequencies due to the inclusion of a Langevin term in the spin equation of motion intended to model bottlenecked Korringa relaxation is also considered. Keywords
