Abstract
The participation of nonionic donor-acceptor complex [A] was suggested by the analyses of product isolated in the Friedel–Crafts reaction of m-dichlorobenzene with CH3SO2Cl in the presence of AlCl3. On the basis of these observations a new practical method of methanesulfonylation of deactivated benzenes employing methane-sulfonic anhydride and CF3SO3H was developed. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
