SARCOIDOSIS WITH INVOLVEMENT OF THE PITUITARY GLAND

Abstract
A 32-year-old white male with a proved diagnosis of Boeck''s sarcoid two years later developed diabetes insipidus and also anterior pituitary gland involvement as manifested by pituitary myxedema and gonadal involvement. Cortisone treatment, did not prevent these complications. The combination of clinical manifestation of pituitary myxedema, diabetes insipidus and genital atrophy has not been reported previously.Keywords
