Abstract
In the February 2001 issue of the Journal of Zoology a paper was published by Robert Timm and John Brandt (2001) that provided a new identification for two bovid frontlets held in the Kansas Natural History Museum. The frontlets had been collected in 1929 from Suoi Kiet, Binh Tuy Province in Vietnam and had been previously identified as kouprey Bos sauveli. Timm and Brandt re-identified the two frontlets as adult male and female representatives of the recently described spiral-horned ox Pseudonovibos spiralis Peter & Feiler, 1994.Keywords
