Abstract
A flat-response multi-peak sampled fibre Bragg grating has been realised using a novel fabrication technique and has been used in a widely tunable hybrid semiconductor laser. The laser shows 45 nm tunability in C-band and sidemode rejection better than 35 dB for all wavelengths. Keywords
