Abstract
In order to extract significant sound information to determine certain voice parameters in locutors speaking a foreign language, original two and multi-level sound spectrograms have been produced. Optical methods using Fourier techniques have been developed to infer a degree of resemblance from correlations of optical pupils representing whole sequences. Linguistic interpretations have been deduced and suggestion of a likely ‘form factor’ in locutors made. Keywords
