Abstract
Forty cases of a distinctive acervate epidermal tumor (intra-epidermal epithelioma of Jadassohn) are described. The pathological and clinical features distinguishing it from other skin tumors are emphasized. Invasive areas were found in 5 cases, 1 with metastasis to a lymph node, underlining the need to differentiate this tumor from benign epidermal tumors, such as irritated seborrhoeic keratosis and inverted follicular keratosis with which it is frequently confused. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
