Abstract
Two cases of cerebral cysticercosis due to Cysticercus cellulosae are reported. Both cases presented epilepsy but its origin was proven only by the finding of characteristic ellipsoidal calcifications of cysticerci on the X-ray plate. Various possible symptoms, the difficulty of early positive treatment by surgery being exceptional are discussed. Although cysticercosis is rare in France, it should be kept in mind when epilepsy is diagnosed with no apparent cause.
