Abstract
Comparative assays for the mammogenic lobule-alveolar growth factor, lactogenic thyrotrophic and gonadotrophic hormones were made on a group of ant. pituitary materials and extracts which varied widely as to the kind and amts. of hormones present in them. The mammogenic lobule-alveolar growth factor was definitely protein in nature as are the other ant. pituitary hormones. Comparative assays indicated that the mammogenic lobule-alveolar growth factor is not identical with either the lactogenic, thyrotrophic or gonadotrophic hormones. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
