Abstract
Low-temperature electrical resistivity of dilute Pd-Ni alloys have been experimentally investigated between 2 and 30 °K. A theory for -electron-paramagnon scattering has been developed, and the experimental results have been interpreted on this basis. The theoretical model has also been extended to predict the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity in strongly paramagnetic metals arising from a similar scattering mechanism.
