Abstract
DIODE LASER transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (TSCPC) has been used successfully for the treatment of refractory glaucoma, including those eyes in which other surgical treatments have failed.1-5 Transscleral cyclophotocoagulation has not been specifically studied for the primary surgical treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), although its use has been proposed,6 because of the fear of vision loss after destructive procedures on the ciliary body. Keywords
