VENOUS INTRAVASATION OF IODIZED OIL DURING MYELOGRAPHY

Abstract
The entrance of iodized oil into the venous system represents a possible, although rare, complication of myelography, which usually does not result in any permanent clinical consequences. A case of intravasation with the roentgenographic demonstration of contrast material in the sacroiliac veins and in the lungs is reported.
