Abstract
A set of symmetry groups, generated by closed clusters of crystal unit cells, is described and illustrated through the orthorhombic group. In general, the groups occupy a position in group hierarchy intermediate between the full space-group and the little groups of the wave vector. High degeneracies are found for some of the representations and this feature is associated with the time-reversal operations. Keywords
