Abstract
Production of the top quark t via p¯p→tt¯+X with one of t,t¯ decaying semileptonically and the other into jets is considered at CERN Sp¯pS and the Fermilab Tevatron. It is shown that, with proper acceptance cuts, top quarks with masses ≲80 GeV can be detected.
