Abstract
Differential cross section and analyzing power data for elastic scattering of 0.8-GeV polarized protons from , , , and have been analyzed in terms of the Kerman-McManus-Thaler formalism using spin-dependent nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitudes. The derived results for nuclear matter densities are in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Uncertainties in the deduced neutron distributions are discussed.
