Abstract
Comparative enzymological techniques were used to distinguish between the muscle lactate dehydrogenases of 26 fish species. Intergeneric differences in enzymatic properties were frequently encountered. The techniques revealed, in addition, that some commercial samples of frozen fish fillets, labeled "haddock," contained cod lactate dehydrogenase. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
