Abstract
The MSSL spectrometer on the Ariel V satellite has detected X-ray emission from two type I Seyfert galaxies ESO012–G21 and Markarian 464. New X-ray spectra of these objects are presented. The observations establish the identity of the former as an X-ray source and indicate the existence of a low energy cut-off in the X-ray spectrum of the latter. Keywords
