Abstract
Crystalline vit. B12 was given in 1000 [mu]g. doses intramusc. to 14 patients with pernicious anemia. Amts. greater than 25 to 50[mu]g. by injn. were rapidly and quantitatively excreted in the urine. There was danger of relapse and aggravation of central nervous system disease when the extra amt. given was depended on for long term therapy.Keywords
