Abstract
An autoclave is described which allows the measurement of chemical relaxation induced by a pressure jump and observed by the change in optical absorbance. The autoclave fits into the optical arrangement of conventional temperature‐jump equipment. Relaxation times longer than 0.5 msec can be determined. Keywords
