Abstract
The limitations of mail questionnaires have been the subject of much speculation and research. In this article, the author describes some of the characteristics of habitual repliers and non-repliers and suggests that on some subjects, the results of a mail survey may very well be the same as those obtained through other methods of inquiry. Keywords
