Abstract
To the editor: The concurrence of two unusual disorders in one patient has led us to investigate the relationship between them. Patient H.G. is a 52-year-old man with Gaucher's disease; the diagnosis made 35 years earlier in him and two of four siblings. He has had thrombocytopenia for many years. He was seen here by us because of a tender right lower-quadrant mass of 6 weeks' duration.
