Abstract
"The effects of psychotherapeutic experience upon ethnocentric or prejudicial attitudes as measured by the California E scale were evaluated. Of three hypotheses formulated, two were supported; namely, that such treatment would result in reductions of such attitudes and that group psychotherapy would be more effective than individual treatment in doing so. However, the hypothesis that reductions of ethnocentrism would be accompanied by appropriate changes of those personality dispositions measured by the F scale was not supported."
