Abstract
Heated soybean diet, supplemented with Birk-Bowman trypsin and chymotrypsin inhibitor from soybean or with chicken ovomucoid, caused pancreas enlargement in chicks but did not affect significantly their growth rate. The effect of the two inhibitors upon the enzymatic activities in the intestinal tract was tested and found to be quite similar.
