Abstract

Stimulus control over speech was demonstrated in the mynah bird. Ss were reinforced with food for talking during stimulus presentation. 2 Ss learned to say a word when and only when a light came on. 1 bird learned to say the correct 1 of 2 words when the 2 stimuli were presented in random order.
