Abstract
The toxic metabolite victoxinine (C17H29NO), considered previously to be a unique product of H. victoriae, was found consistently in culture filtrates of H. sativum strains isolated from a wide variety of sources. This indicates a close relationship between the 2 phytopathogenic fungi and adds another toxin to be considered in the etiology of diseases incited by H. sativum. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
