Abstract
Using six 10-gallon glass aquaria and a routinized schedule of feeding and water change, a regular weekly yield of 500 to 800 young but sexually mature A. glabratus snails per week was maintained. Each aquarium is fitted with a hammock of fine-mesh nylon net material which extends down into the water to a depth of 3 or 4 inches. The hammock serves to hold the snails during their development and provides a means of transferring the colony en masse when the water needs changing. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
