Abstract
The unique case is reported of a liver hemangioma which appeared on scintiscan as an area of increased concentration of radiogold—‐a ‘hot’ lesion. The scintiscan appearance described is explained by the presence of increased amounts of reticuloendothelial tissue in the tumor over that in the surrounding normal tissue. The usual scan picture of liver hemangioma is that of a ‘cold’ lesion. Keywords
