Abstract
There is a remarkable difference in PAS signals received between microphone and transducer methods. To clarify the reason for this difference, preliminary experiments were carried out using a PZT transducer. With this method, however, the PAS signal of the sample is sometimes mixed with that of the transducer and it is difficult to separate the pure sample signal from the mixed signal. To solve this problem a LiNbO3 transparent transducer method has been developed. This method can detect two kinds of signals corresponding to those obtained by microphone and transducer methods, depending on the radiation direction of the incident light beam to the sample. Keywords
