Abstract
Spittle insects (Cercopidae) attack alfalfa, red clover, and several other Wisconsin crops. Damage observed (dwarfed, resetted, blossom-blasted, and necrotic alfalfa and red clover) was reproduced in field cages with Philaenus leucophthalmus, vars. being of following % pallidus, 60; spumarius, 21; fabricii, 17; lateralis, 2.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
