Abstract
Cases of Behcet disease (35) are presented, including 16 vascular manifestations: 14 venous thrombosis with 9 vena cava obstruction, 1 femoral aneurysm, 2 pulmonary artery thrombosis, 3 pericarditis and 2 myocardial infarction. In all these cases, corticosteroids and anti-coagulation therapy were institued. With a follow-up from 5-36 mo., only 5 relapsed in the first 5 mo. of therapy. Systematic anticoagulation or anti-aggregant therapy in Behcet disease is recommended. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
