Effects of Various Levels of Aureomycin in Fattening Lambs

Abstract
Aureomycin as a feeding supplement was fed to lambs at levels of 1.1 to 15.0 mg. per pound of feed in rations composed of milo and alfalfa hay; and milo, cottonseed meal and alfalfa hay. Increases in rate of gain resulting from feeding the aureomycin were relatively small and were not significant statistically. An apparent improvement in feed efficiency was evident when aureomycin was fed at levels of 2.2 to 5.0 mg. per pound of total feed. Copyright © . .This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
