Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 62-year-old man was referred to the hospital because of bone pain and hypophosphatemia.He was well until 10 years earlier, when a diagnosis of primary hypothyroidism was made and levothyroxine was begun. Five years before admission he experienced pain about the right hip; x-ray films of the pelvis showed no abnormality. One year before admission pain developed in the right groin and spread to the right buttock.
