Abstract
The scale scores of KOIS profiles of 1,084 males and females were converted to intraindividual form by means of a z-score transformation. The sets of 56 female scales and 106 male scales were subjected to a Little Jiffy Mark IV factor analysis. Nine female and 11 male factors emerged, 5 of which were approximately the same in both genders and 2 more similar. The results are discussed in terms of their utility for interpretation of high ranking scales. Keywords
