Abstract
In this article we outline a technique for the correction of aniseikonic size differences in unilateral aphakic infants. The technique is not difficult and can be readily performed in the office by those having a modest knowledge of paraxial optics. A working schematic eye based on measurements that can be made on the infant's eyes in the clinic, is devised for both phakic and aphakic eyes. An example of calculations made and Rx provided is given. Limitations of the method are explained. Keywords
