Abstract
Old formalin-fixed specimens of neural tissue are stained with hematoxylin in accordance with the usual practice of myelin staining. Iron alum is used as the mordant, and the stain is used in a dilute medium of hot Li2CO3, intensified in cold Li2CO3 soln., and the differentiation is completed by the use of a mixture of dilute KMnO4 and alcohol.Keywords
